Just something I drew a few months ago while 
kalibri (on the right) and his friend were playing Resident Evil 5.
I'm very happy with Kalibri's anatomy, but I am well aware that Sheva's head is way too big. :P I'm pretty happy with her (his?) anatomy otherwise.
May go into scraps later.

I don't know much about RE, but still this bears relevance to my tastes. why? crossdressing. XD
the problem with lion heads appearing too big are the full manes. underneath them they are the same proportions as their women, but the mane adds a lot to the overall appearance. as long as you make sure it appears to be hair you have nothign to worry about...
many years ago I was accused of drawing heads too big and wide because of prominent sideburns... ^^
