Here we have Lialda Voshaar d'Aerz geared up for combat. I'm still working on the Verrisiran military ranks, but hers would be the equivalent to the US Army rank of sergeant major. She is skilled in psionic combat, close combat, tracking, and assault. The weapon she is holding is a direct energy weapon (DEW) assault rifle, the Z-750 Engagement Assault Rifle. The rifle is powered by an energy crystal that draws power from special fuel cell magazines (FCMs). FCMs carry enough energy for about 180 shots. Lialda is also carrying a special combat knife for close quarters combat (CQC), although she can also use her fangs and claws too (Verrisirs aren't afraid to use their natural weapons in battle).

Her helmet's visor provides her with combat data and logistical information during missions.

The large shoulder plate on her left shoulder is used to help deflect or shield her from bullets and energy shots (it's quite sturdy).

Now, for those wondering why she has no pants on, it's because Verrisirs are very dexterous and agile, so it provides a bit more freedom of movement for her. Also, Verrisirs are from a mostly jungle world, so, not wearing a lot of clothes is basically a given. They DO however wear pants when the situation calls for it!

Lialda, despite being battle hardened, is quite friendly and fun to be around. However, when the chips are down, she is disciplined and knows how to lead and fight.

Expect to see more of her in this getup in the future (and in pants for you pants lovers you. ;) ).
