As previously mentioned in my last upload, my cats really adore this suit. It was one of the things I was most worried about when I was looking to buy a fursuit. I didn't want my animals to be terrified of it, their happiness is very important to me. Because of that, I didn't want to bring something home that would make them feel not safe in their own environment.
So when I opened up the package I made sure they were present. Allowing them sniff, investigate and touch the fursuit as well as the box it came in. (You know how cats are. xD) Then as I was putting on the pieces I was talking to them, petting them and continuing to let them smell the suit as I put it on. Once the whole suit was together I stood still and let them come to me. The way their eyes lit up was heartwarming. By that look alone I knew they were not frightened in the least. They knew it was me and were excited about the 'strange' outfit I had put on.
However, Stoic was the one who took to the suit most. Though my little tabby Valka (shown in previous post) interacted and investigated me in the suit. It was Stoic that was really rubbing and wanting to be all over it. I partly thought he was happy I kind of looked like him, or in some sort of sense he was happy that he could identify what I was. In any case I was overjoyed with both of their reactions and was glad that they were not a single bit scared of the new purchese I had made.
