in addition to my nightmares, I dreamed that my illness caused complications and I became a wheelchair user. I remember everything in snatches, so that the sketches are more likely to emphasize more positive emotions. in fact, I felt the looks, the awkwardness of movement and it seemed that I would easily lose my balance, because I still don't know how to properly "steer". and although I was glad to meet my friends, when I returned home, I was immediately shaken by the realization that I would never skate, swim normally and would not be able jumpin for joy. I don't know how wheelchair users feel, but my body below the waist felt like it was constantly numb, which was a little scary. my feet didn't feel the coolness of the wind or the occasional thumping of something. my hands were a little sore from having to move the wheels and to get something out of things quickly, I had to strain and turn my body back. I'm not saying that I don't remember how I overcame the subway crossings.
