One day I asked a colleague if there was something they wanted to see me draw. Noting how I did a lot of character art, they thought I could try something different. They suggested something water related and to go from there. So that's what I did.

An aquatic character - whether natural or modified for such an environment - stumbles upon an unsettling sight deep in the ocean. Across a vast abyssal plain disturbed by jutting rock stood a large underwater facility spewing plumes of waste substance into the pristine waters around it. Who could behind such a place, and what business did they have at the bottom of the ocean?
