The gold-plated sphinx construct was created as an immortal guardian of the temple of the departed pharaoh, but she was granted too much intelligence and free will. After the civilization collapsed, she realized that nobody was returning to the temple, and so she's created the House of Riches: the greatest casino in the world, magically cool in the middle of the desert! Anything can be won here, save the clockwork heart of the owner herself. But beware, for the house always wins in the end...
