RIP Kobe Bryant
Word broke today that the noted NBA champion, Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash along with his 13 year old daughter Gianna and 7 others.
Kobe was a master of the court, literally being drafted right out of high school, and also helped lead the Los Angeles Lakers until his retirement in 2016.
The man was also a philanthropist , businessman and started getting into directing, winning an Oscar for best Documentary short in 2018.
Unlike many other sports players, Kobe was well liked and didn't allow himself to get a swelled ego.
Its a tragedy he lost his life along with his daughter, he leaves behind a wife and 3 other daughters. The Lakers announced that they are retiring his #24 number.
*EDIT* Its now announced that Kobe was taking his daughter, and daughters friend , coach and family to practice. The fog in the area was so thick , even police helicopters were grounded. They literally slammed into the hillside at full speed. Just to avoid LA's notorious traffic snarls.
