StarFox Assault is probably my favorite game in that series next to StarFox 2. Assault itself is somewhat divisive though. I wanted to get around to doing a 15th anniversary tribute piece for that game since it influenced so much of what I find appealing in StarFox.
Here's the team, Fox, Falco, Krystal, Slippy, and Peppy with some Arwings, distant Wolfen's, and a poorly lit Wolf, Leon and Panther looming in the background, and the Aparoid Homeworld I guess. I always imagined that the Aparoid Homeworld was a rogue planet that has been drifting through space for an unspecified amount of time, only to pass near Lylat in the past few decades in-universe.
