Sadie is taking a couple months off her tour with the Sadie Killers and is hanging back home with everyone, but with Steven and the other gems busy, she surprisingly finds a bond with Peridot in reading amusing fan fiction, and as they hang out more and more, Amethyst cant help but feel a connection between these two forming, one she aims to see meet.

Heading off to the vault of Gem artifacts, Amethyst pulls from it a book that's bound to bring those two "close" together......but a problem quickly arises when the two constantly fail to notice the book until finally Amethyst gets annoyed, gives up on subtlety, and just hurls it at Peridots head and tells her "Just read the book already!!! I have Nacho's I could be eating right now!!!" With a sore noggin Peridot grumbles to herself as examines the book that has no cover and opens it up to see it has no words and yet when Sadie says "I wish this book was about zombie campers" suddenly the pages come to life with pictures and sound of exactly what she asked for as their eyes light up with possibility while Amethyst smiles cheekily to herself.

For the next several hours, Peridot and Sadie fill the book up with all their ideas of characters, scenarios, and romances as it all comes to life in front of their eyes, but they've been so enraptured by the books power, that they never noticed that both of their faces have become part of the pages and the more they imagine ideas to come to life, the more their bodies suck in more and more and more!!! By the time they finally run out of ideas for a moment, they suddenly realize they can't move and have strange feeling of being flat....how right they actually are as they've both become part of the book.

Back from her snack breaks, Amethyst is stunned by what they've become as she picks the book up and asks what happened to them. Sadie and Peridot begin explaining the best they can but it just gradually turns into more story ideas as they both lose themselves in the moment and share in their passion for fan fiction until Amethyst chuckles to herself and tells them "Looks like my job is done, I knew this book had something about it that brought couples together, and you too make a cute pair" They both blush and try to deny it, but are swiftly met with their lips meeting on top of each other as Amethyst closes the book and in doing so their pages onto each other as she tells them "I think I'll keep you two on the shelf for a while, I think you two have a lot of things to share about each other, and you such a great way to share it" As Peridot and Sadie's gazes are forcefully met, they both feel feeling for each other and both fuse together, but not as a fusion, Rather a blank page where both their thoughts and feels are now one as the book finally begins to fill with words and the cover has a title, an image of the two of them kissing with the title "How Fiction becomes love" over them. The end
