Flexible holographic tiling, printed as necessary. Much thinner, much easier to replace, and most importantly, much easier to clean.
You just hope they generate holograms as well as the old panels.
Production's also quite a bit quicker, so there's been chatter about maybe replacing flooring throughout the facility with the material, allowing holograms and Syms to be generated anywhere!

(Yes, I'm using the MC's distaste of having to clean the old panels as an excuse to swap them out for something else.)
