It's been about 6-7 years since I was really active in any sort of way in the art community...any art community. I remember waking up every day and instantly hoping onto Deviantart to interact with online artist friends and reply to comments. I loved it. Now I'm struggling to get back into drawing regularly. Wish me luck, guys, it's a journey <3

My issues started when I moved for college too. Even though I was taking tons of art classes to keep me drawing, it just didn't hold the same spark as it did when I'd draw Zelda art at the dining room table all day as a kid. Artistic skill is definitely something that needs to be exercised once in a while, so going a few years without doing so can sadly make drawing a little more difficult. Don't give it up, though! Start building up those hand muscles again, even if you only doodle one thing a day :3
I feel this so badly, this is a new account for almost exactly the same reason. One a day is my goal, I figure even if a few turn out bad, 30 minutes for a drawing is a possible fight right? Good luck in the battle!

that is a great goal, and now that you mention it, that's a great idea. I think I'll revert back to my weird 15yr old self and carry a sketchbook around with me again and try to sketch at least one thing a day. We can do it!
