UPDATE: This holiday was due to happen early September 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic the UK has put quarantine rules into visitors from France and Monaco making it unviable for me and my group this year. (We were unsure regardless of whether to go or not in the first place. The news breaking about the new rules made our decision easier).
UPDATE 2: This was ultimately cancelled due to one of the group we were travelling with suffering from severe heart and lung conditions and will not be able to travel with us, regardless of if covid-19 lockdowns and rules allow it or not.
UPDATE 3: So with the world slowly opening up and travel seeming more likely now; I had some annual leave booked in September and it seems like my family will be going to Nice after all! Only this time won't be with family friends; just a family holiday away for a week.
Je rentre en france cette année!
(I am returning to France this year!) after 15 years of avoiding the country from my first visit to it's capital of Paris for my 8th birthday and not having fond memories of it (and nor do my family remind me of any good ones).
So after my merveilleux (wonderful) time in Quebec City, Canada, and my family having good experiances in Marseille a couple of years ago; we have decided to visit the corner stone of Europe once again! -And I will hopefully get to visit my 28th new country of Monaco on a day trip too if all goes to plan!
