While Azazel looks threatening and he's trying to destroy the universe, Chet can't help but try and SAVE him. Azazel in response doesn't know what to do as he believes he's beyond SAVEing, that Chet's wasting his time, and that he can't stop carrying out the goal that isn't even his own. At this point, he also starts to remember who he used to be, his loved ones, and everything else which causes him to cry at these painful memories.
