Title: "Crystal ball" medium: entirely digital (mouse drawn, PaintshopPro7)
Nehalla Dream owned a "crystal" ball that helped her in predicting her clients' fortunes... only it didn't look into the future, that is impossible (as the future is always yet to be decided). Rather, it could look into the past, and display memories of the clients (working like a psychic television)... which was just as good in helping her give advice on the situation they came to her with.
After her sudden death, her youngest (and most colorful) son, Zibri, longs to see her again. He tries the crystal ball... and looks with amazement and shock as it works... he can see her, just as if she was alive! Until, that is, he realizes that this too, is only a memory.

Yes, its a reflection... he's supposed to be where the viewer is, with his hands in front of him. (I used a refrence for this, so even though its really funky its based on a real photo. the hands are based on my own hands... I had to draw them one at a time))
It creeps me out too. I did the face/dress at midnight one night, then opened it up the next morning and gave myself a scare.
Also don't know if you noticed, but its the same dress he's wearing at the beginning of the buzzbuzz comic. so its extra creepy!

What I happen to like in this picture is the reflection shown on the crystal ball.
...Which I SO need ot learn how in the name of sweet merciful Ursula you did.
I think it's cool that the image fades to show what's actually IN the crystal ball as well. That's impressive to me.
And sorry if that's mainly what I'm going on, but the rest is more or less blackground. ^ ^;
