Wings of Fire oc.
➤Name: Shadowseer
➤Tribe: she defines herself a NightWing despite being half SkyWing.
➤Gender: female.
➤Age: 8 years.
➤Partner: none.
➤Parents: Deepsight (mother), unknown SkyWing father.
➤Job: artist.
➤Faction: she's not interested in the War of SandWing Succession, she only wants the salvation of her tribe
➤Personality: Determined, introverted, and wise. Always immersed in her tunnel of endless thoughts, she usually has a detached, taciturn and rather bashful attitude and initially she may seems gruff or not very inclined to conversation. If taken in the right direction (the best approach towards her is not to invade her personal spaces) she can become a trusted and loyal friend to rely on.
She has always thirst for knowledge and loves to dig into forbidden, hidden or unknown subjects to bring them to light. She likes to explore the unexplored but with caution. In fact Shadow is not rash and before acting she likes to think and develop possible solutions or strategies.
➤Background: Shadowseer's story is set during the War of SandWing Succession, simultaneously with that of the Dragonets of Destiny.
Deepsight was a mother eager to see her only dragonet hatch from the egg and grow up in a safe and healthy environment. But this wasn't the right place: the NightWing Island, in all its unhealthiness, was slowly falling into the deadly lava of the volcano. She had guessed it from frequent flash-like visions that stormed her worried, stressed and sad mind from the recent loss of her beloved partner.
Deepsight had that power who was now disappearing among the tribe. And she wanted to pass it on to her unborn dragonet, but she didn't know how. The sky was always covered by ash-filled clouds, hiding the three famous moons. There seemed to be no hope for the little one, predestined to be a common NightWing without its notorious potential.
A very vivid vision lighted the flames of hope... An egg close to hatching was laying under the glow of a moon, protected by the rocks of the mountains on the borders of the Sky Kingdom. From the egg a particular dragonet would be born, very similar to her mother but with strong features that reminded her deceased father.
For Deepsight that message was very clear: she had to escape from the Nightwing island. It could have been considered an act of selfishness towards the tribe but her maternal instinct was more urgent and important than other things. So with the daughter's hidden egg she escaped in total secrecy and flew to the mountains on the borders of the Sky Kingdom, where she remained hidden and safe until the hatching of the egg, finally wet by the pale lunar rays. The newborn Shadowseer was fortunate to not inhale the volcano's harmful fumes and this was thanks to Deepsight's thoughtfulness. She raised the dragonet in that impervious but at the same time healthy environment, not however free from the danger of being found and imprisoned by the SkyWings. NightWings weren't a big threat to war but Queen Scarlet in those times seemed to have no mercy on anyone. [...background work in progress...]
