Personality:
Seishou is very straightforward. He can be condescending towards strangers. He is considered as a habitual liar due to his nature of being a raccoon. He is often considered to be charming due to the amount of attention he is given towards from his female classmates in SSS. He also has a carefree personality which relates to the fact that he often slacks off from his daily tasks.

Gregalias implies that Seishou can be a bit picky, in which he is often unsatisfied of the things he is normally given, mostly as a form of a reward. This also shows that Seishou tends to be impatient, in a tactic of obtaining certain objects, which led to believe he might grow up into becoming a thief.



Ability:
Using magic
Seishou obtains a variety of magic which he gains from his training, while few are still in a progress of performing correctly. Those he had fought admit that he is likely able to take down a god. Most of Seishou's spells are in the form of autumn leaves, given to the fact that he is to sweep the floors of the Jutaku and his theme of autumn relates to this. His spells are also based towards Festivals that takes place during the Autumn season, such as Festival "Lunatic Waltz" is a reference towards the chinese worshiping the moon in they're festivities, as well as a relation of the myth of Chang'e and Houyi.

Gathering many people in one spot
At times, many beings or humans from different realms tend to gather at the Jutaku either in a form of groups or alone. This led to speculation that Seishou has an unlikely ability to gather individuals in a certain area he is in. This might be a reference towards his theme of festivals. This is evident towards his laid back personality, in which reflects his demeanor that every day or at any time is for him to "set back and relax" as if he was given a break or is enjoying a celebration. This also shows the fact that he gets punish for slacking off when a human enters then leaves into a fantasy realm.

Abilities as a Raccoon
It is likely for him to use a series of magic in relation towards his species. Being a raccoon of course, he is likely to have an ability to create a decoy of himself, which he gains from training with the Tanuki, though he is in fact not. In relation for being a thief, he has a great deal of stealth and stamina, which he uses to escape from being caught.

Tricking people into leaving
Humans would often come to the Jutaku out of curiosity which led to them entering the fantasy realm by entering in a proper manner. As a result, Seishou uses a trick to confused humans: if they were to ask a question, Seishou will give them a different answer saying that they did enter the fantasy realm, which would make them confused into leaving the area, however, if they believed Seishou's 'honest' answer, he will trick the human into leaving by telling them that the way to enter to the actual fantasy realm is the leave the Jutaku grounds (since the jutaku is known for being in different realms at once), upon leaving, the humans would most likely return to their realm whilst the entrance to the Jutaku disappears out of plain sight. It is implied the he uses this trick from a fellow Tanuki.

Other form of magic
Since Genteki is part dragon, it is most likely that Seishou trains to transform into one, given the fact that Gregalias has a dragon form. According to Enda, he notes to Seishou that being a dragon cause a lot of concentration, since those who transform into a dragon for long might cause some changes in they're personality, such as greed and power(which pure dragons tend to have).

During a fight with Gerda, Seishou is shown to have the capability to teleport, which is implied that he might have learned from Enda.
Gregalias used to teach Seishou giant laser attacks, which led to his most used spell "Moonlight Ray", which is similar to Gregalias' "Lightwave Ray", in which is a common spell both used in they're attacks. When combined, the spell attack would likely to become as twice as powerful, in which can simply defeat a god or spirit, both called it as 'First Light "Eternal Starlight"', though Gregalias insist of giving a better name.

It is likely for humans to be unaware that Seishou is an anthropomorphic raccoon, since upon entering the jutaku grounds, they aren't fully aware of their surroundings of magic, which in likely to their perspective, sees him as a normal human being while the jutaku as an abandoned shrine. Though if they were to leave the jutaku's grounds and did enter a fantasy realm, they would return to indeed saw Seishou and the Jutaku's true appearance.



Occupation:
Apprentice to Gregalias
Seishou works and lives at the Jutaku as Gregalias' apprentice, the reason is ambiguous. It is implied by Kuripa that the reason why Seishou is an apprentice is because Gregalias is looking for a successor for his task of maintaining the partial realms of both Fantasy and Reality. Though, Gregailias could've picked one of his students, he noted that "they're not capable enough to perform certain tasks and sacrifices".

Seishou also takes a part time training with Genteki, who serves as his secondary mentor, after an agreement with Gregalias who insist that having a secondary mentor would provide continuity Seishou's tasks. This also provides the fact that Genteki was a former apprentice of Gregalias.

Student
Currently he serves as a student at the School for the Supernatural at Gregalias' request towards Shimoyoshi.

Thief (?)
Speculation occurs when Seishou is caught of 'stealing' along with a group of Youkai, which led to him getting harshly punished. This lead several people into thinking that he may grow up to become a thief.

According to Gerda, it is likely for Seishou to choose this path, mainly of the true nature of his species (being a raccoon) to steal in order to live, despite the fact that he is already given a home, though she also addresses that this would unlikely to happen since, Seishou serves as an apprentice to a god, in which he would obviously refuse to do any tactics resulting of him getting punished.



Possessions:
Broom
The broom which he is mostly seen with is a item given to him by Gregalias as a daily task to sweep the floors in front of the Jutaku. The broom is actually a spear he mostly uses in combat.

Pagoda lamps
The pagoda lamps are items which he obtains from Gregalias after his training in the mountains. He uses them similarly with Gregalias' lanterns, mostly in combat, such as using to projectile certain tricks.



Species:
Seishou is often easily confused by others as a Tanuki, due to they're similar appearances, though he addresses the fact that he is a raccoon but doesn't have the ability to disguise himself or anything without a charm. Gregalias notes that Seishou is in fact related to the Tanuki, but only in appearance.

His true species is unknown, but he does closely resemble some form of canine.



History:
Seishou was found by Gregalias in a human realm as a young baby cub in a rainy autumn night. Gregalias takes him to a vet where he frequently visits to check up on him. He then notices physical changes to the raccoon such as his limbs are getting longer and the noises he makes form words. Gregalias decided to adopt him and name him Seishou.

His name Seishou [セイショウ] is written in katakana, and may be inspired after the word Seishū [青秋, lit; meaning Blue Autumn], referencing to the day he was found on a rainy autumn night. Seishou is often written as 斉唱, meaning 'chanting', 'unison', 'championship', 'spirit' and 'victory', which are his characteristics.



Relationships:
Residence of the Jutaku of Faith
Gregalias
Seishou has known Gregalias ever seen, since Gregalias was the one who led Seishou into becoming who he is now, even respecting him for it. Though it is Gregalias' tasks of solving strange occurrences in the realms, Seishou tends to investigate on his own, despite the fact that he isn't as powerful as Gregalias, though in the end, Seishou often solves it, but with Gregalias only giving him a pat in the shoulder, though this may irritate Seishou, yet he is glad to gain some respect from Gregalias.

With Gregalias being the one who raised Seishou, it is likely that the two have a father and son relationship, though this is rarely addressed, as both are mostly seen have a "Sorcerer and Apperentice" type of relationship, though Eluka addresses that they're somewhat partners (in crime).
Though they are allies, they'll occasionally have arguments over an excuse or sometimes, personal reasons. Despite this, they often tend not to speak towards each other, though Seishou still does his daily tasks.

It is likely that Gregalias would often lecture Seishou, which he thinks is a waste of time, though in the end, it is revealed that Seishou should indeed straighten his ears, since what Gregalias lectured him about what could happen to him if he weren't been listening, did occur.

Eluka
Eluka is Gregalias' artificial daughter. They tend to have an ambiguous relationship. In Eluka's perspective, she views Seishou as an older brother, while he views her as a friend, due to the fact that she is somewhat related to Gregalias through blood, while Seishou is adopted.
Due to her lack of concern, Seishou often finds her annoying in a situation, though when she is concerned, Seishou tends to joke around her, even mocking her. Despite her indifferent traits, Seishou often views her likable, in which both have similar traits, such as a liking towards Gregalias, and wanting they're enemies to become good friends.

Even at the same age as Seishou's, she maintained her childlike traits, though Seishou does in fact prefers the younger version of Eluka better.

For all the bickering of the two, they seem to be very close. At one point, she say that she used to have a crush on Seishou. They also tend to have a friendly rivalry, like showing off their abilities of how Gregalias as trained them so far. When Seishou and Gregalias return to the Jutaku after defeating the Ender Dragon, Seishou finds Eluka comfortably sleeping in his room.

Kuripa
Seishou notes that kuripa is a strange person. He can't tell either if she's supposed to be a pet or a maid.

Enda
Though unlikely for them to interact, Enda is implied to be the one who trained Seishou how to Teleport.

Suraim and Ghast
Not much is known about his relationship with them, though at one point, his first encounter with ghast led to him crying.
Though the two are known to cause trouble, Seishou does often join they're mischievous adventures.

Iron Golem
Seishou addressed that she has done a better job than him as a gatekeeper.


Human Village
Genteki Shimasu
Despite his antagonistic personality, Genteki also mentors Seishou through Gregalias' permission by pushing him to increase his strength and spiritual abilities, such as learning how to transform into a dragon. It also helps that the two gain much of a "Father and Son" bond than that with Gregalias. Seishou is aware that Genteki was formerly Gregalias' apprentice, so Genteki would usually comfort Seishou when he gets stressed out.

Though the two are often considered by Kumo as partners in crime, due to the events before Lunar Eclipse Festivities, when Genteki was creating a spell two gain a full dragon transformation by using Seishou as a host, though this in fact never happen due to a missing ingredient.

Much to their delight, both often cause trouble, even manage to make Gregalias after chased them after destroying a field where Gregalias was planning to use it as a picnic spot, they even destroyed his favorite meal.


School for the Supernatural
Shimoyoshi Fusoku Irubunka
Being the School's founder and principal, Shimoyoshi is fully aware of Seishou and his tasks of Gregalias apprentice, agreeing with Gregalias that she would make sure that his abilities would be increased. Though at times, the two would interact that certain times like when Seishou was about to head on to a mission but Shimoyoshi stops him by and has a short conversation with him before leaving off, much to Seishou's confusion. At times, Seishou often feels threatened by Shimoyoshi, due to her being the strongest of all the youkai in the area, in which he feels a slight presence of grudge around her.

Shizuka Fusoku Irubunka
Seishou is somehow the only character in the series to be able to remember Shizuka or even has conversations with her. He describes her as quite annoying due to her constantly reminding and encouraging him. He thinks that she is the personification his conscious, but is unaware that she is actually Shimoyoshi's sister.

Sukonekushi Fusoku Irubunka
Seishou battled her after venturing in the swamp parts of the school. He claims she is likely strong for her age, and that he takes notice that she is somewhat similar to Shimoyoshi only more snake like (this is likely due to her mother is Shizuka and her father is a deceased snake youkai).

Gerda Shinko
Seishou admits that Gerda is way too similar to Gregalias. This shows that Seishou is unaware of what their relationship is like. They do tend to assist each other in battle, along with the help from her Tsukumogami.

Karu Shiroitaiyo
Seishou finds it odd that Karu is the school's science teacher and that he used to be a lab rat for the humans. This shows during they're private conversation, where Karu shows his back scars to Seishou indicating that he was not from the supernatural realm or was born in this matter, but was experimented by humans.

Remashita Takara
Though Seishou doesn't quite mention her, she does seemed to be a good friend. This shows in their first interaction where Remashita demands to Seishou that they should became friends. He does question her role in the swimming club despite the fact that she doesn't likely to have any ability to swim.

Miryouko Hanei
Hanei is likely one of Seishou's classmates, both have helped each other in some occasions. During after school activities, Hanei used her abilities to charm Seishou into an event which led to him being accidentally locked in the storage room with another person, hoping to give Seishou a romantic interest. This of course led to unfortunate effects since, the person who gets locked with Seishou was Misty, whom he is preventing to interact.

Misty Dream
Though both have a liking towards each other, but not in a romantic ideal, which Hanei caused. Seishou does notice her, though he doesn't usually interact with her a lot, thinking that he may have too much friends, since most of them are girls. Misty was likely to be treated as a child by Seishou, due to her being shy and her emotions are likely to cause her abilities, even comforting her when she lost her lunch money resulting her crowding the classroom with fog.

Sakana Senshi
Seishou is aware that Remashita is partners with him in the swimming club.

Kumo Ginshi
Seishou points out that she is one of the more tempered out of his friends. Even teased her, which led to him caught by her webs.


Other relationships
Akuma Akarui
Gregalias introduces Seishou to Akuma after they defeat Shinjitsu. It is implied that they've become good friends.

Alice Akino
Both have known each other, even have fought at times. Though Alice is likely to each Seishou his skills with his spear.

Midori Himawari
At one point, Seishou knew Midori through Gregalias' meetings. She does address to Gregalias that Seishou could've been a great warrior if he was part of Midori's home realm.

Manzoku Mitasa
Mitasa is the embodiment of unfairness, in which she uses her abilities to make beings understand the difficulties towards succeeding. Seishou in fact blames her for the trouble, though he gets confused when she does takes the blame. Both are likely to have become allies after the events in Other Worldly Sinners.

Durabarashi Rekishi
Seishou encountered her sometime after his battle with Mitasa, Rekishi admits that she knew Seishou would find her, due to her abilities of manipulating history, in which Seishou has left no choice but to fight her.
