Dar'Karim, the Shadow of Elsweyr. Locksbane. The master thief of the Riften Thieves' Guild, there's nothing this striped Khajiit cannot steal, plunder, purloin or burgle. If it's nailed down, if it's locked away, he can take it, and the nails along with it.

Taiga-Ja, the spell-weaving prodigy from Winterhold, left the Mage's College in search of adventure and the thrill of putting his know-how to the test. When he and Dar'Karim crossed paths, they hit it off with gusto, and working together, have become the stuff of legend. That is, only to those in the know. To the average citizen of Tamriel, these two are just two ordinary young men; maybe a little mischievous, maybe a -lot- mischievous...

Together, the pair heard rumour of the location of a fabled artifact, the Scepter of Daedric Prince Sheogorath. Commonly known as the Wabbajack, it's said the Scepter has power unrivalled in all of Nirn! Able to grant wishes, desires, to bestow great gifts and impart terrible woes, it's believed that to hold it is to hold the power of reality itself!

After journeying to Hammerfell, and after exhausting almost every lead they had in the process, the pair return to their hideout to...examine the findings. For a mage like Taiga-ja, who knows exactly the level of power such an item can produce, it's far too tempting a prospect to pass up. Dar'karim, more familiar with the legends, seems...wary.
