A fellow Fraggle Fan, I see. I remember seeing it ocassionally when it was new on TV, but it didn't really appeal to me until some years later, when it was in re-runs. Now I'm a big fan. Best of all, the episodes are being produced in DVD sets now, so I've been buying all those shows I never saw.
I live in the same city where the Henson crew made Fraggle Rock. Unfortunately I've never found a Fraggle Hole.

If you have the first two boxed sets (the third is out now) then you know that they made special live action segments for different countries. In the UK it was an Irish lighthouse keeper, in France a chef, and (strangley) in Germany an inventor just like "Doc" in the US/Canada version.
"Doc" was Gerry Parkes, a local Canadian actor who's other big role was to play a rather demented seeming general store owner who sold provincial lottery tickets. He'd cackle at the thought of his customers winning big as though he were the Wicked Witch of the West thinking about Dorothy locked up in her dungeon. Poor guy. It was the writers' fault of course, not his.
I have an unfinished Fraggle drawing of my own, in a huge cavern called The Looking Glass Cave. Maybe I should dust it off again and try to finish it.
