As a child, Akira was heavily drawn to her father's work in the scientific field. Growing older, she found herself not at all interested in tales of romance, lust and betrayal, but stories of outer space, unbelievable machinery, and madmen in flying police boxes. Growing with her adopted sister, Luz, pushed Akira into a world of building and making things work -- along with figuring out what made other things work. Now, she works at a high-level institution for creation and pushing technology; it's only an internship, but a dream job is a dream job. Given this, you'd think she'd have learned to take things seriously. But no, she finds herself very easily distracted by her mind, and often jumps to completely unrelated subjects.
