Toriyama has a lot of critics as a writer, but i love his world and the DBZ fan community. Joined a new gym and have been on a Dragon Ball buzz over the last half year. Had to go and reread Dragon Ball again right away, and i re watched all of Dragon Ball Z Abridged last week. <3 Ive always wanted to do a Dragon Ball universe Comic for Nai, but thats the one setting i haven't actually done a lot of personal writing in. RP yes, but i havent made any of my own cannon.

lol I love Nai being so casual on the Toriyama style dinosaur. I think he loved drawing giant dinosaurs.
This is a freaking sweet piece.
I wish I saw the Dragon Ball series first before getting into DBZ. It would've made many of the epic twists and surprises more exciting, like the Red Ribbon army and the Nameks.

Hah lawl. Nai is my DBZ sona. I got pretty close to her sprite when playing xenoverse too. Shes even got a saian tail!
She's an absolute Mary Sue in her original cannon. A Sanjian, Saian, Nekomata, a Genome cross over, because restraint is for loosers! XD
Also, I still havent actually sit down and rewatch Dragon Ball Z in order. I wanted to try Kai, but i just havnt gotten round to it yet = x =

Drawing inspiration from Toriyama always helps a lot. He had a lot of beutiful short cuts in handling terrain and its destruction that are SO worth referencing. *nod nod*
The DBZ manga were always detailed, but simple in their coneption. I recomend just copying out some of his stand out backgrounds. That, aside from just looking up and following some good BG tutorials online.... Oh and the book 'Essentials of landscape composition'. * od nodnod*
