I grew up in Quincy, actually! Knowing Quincy's history, could there be some relation to John Adams (2nd U.S. president)? I know Quincy is the home of the Adams family and John Quincy Adams is the namesake of the city. Another thing I notice...before 1700 it was an achievement to live to 68. Life expectancy was a lot shorter 300+ years ago.
