It's not exactly a saw horse, nor is it a work bench. It's a nice sturdy work surface to use when I am carving.
This tool features a way to support logs to saw, a slot for making spoons, a larger slot for carving bowls, the slots can be used fr a variety of clamping means if I wedge what I want in.

I made this out in the woods after I felled a decently sized sassafras snag. I then sawed off a good portion I wanted and went at the thing with a saw, hatchets, a spoke shave, a brace with a good wood boring bit, knives and a chisel.
This will be quite a useful tool to have around.
