I joined the #dangerartchallenge this week, the theme was "Sealed"
I took the meaning of "your fate is sealed" but tried for a more optimistic take. From the rat's creation, it's fate is sealed. the oil in it's belly will run out, it's flame will die, the year will end. It is inevitable. But as one year ends, another begins and the cycle begins anew. But the rat will not know this new year; The rat can only ever know what is behind it, not what it helps reveal up ahead. It is up to us to follow that light into whatever mysteries it will hold.
