About Jael:

Jael was once one of the many captured and tormented dragons trapped by Lady Sol. He'd been in captivity for so long that his past life was long forgotten and, thanks to the magic of SphenisCaide keeping Jael from aging, time ceased to exist for him. While in Sol's prison, Jael found life easier if he just kept to himself, huddled in his cell and keeping attention off of him.
That was before the first dragon in centuries broke out of Sol's prison and, to Jael's infinite surprise, took the golden dragon with him.
That dragon gave Jael a new home and a new life. It wasn't easy, but Jael got a job and started making friends. Now he has his entire life ahead of him! He doesn't know what to expect, and it scares him a little, but at least he's not alone any longer. He still prays every night that Lady Sol will never find him again...
