I completely on your side with you for this one. Other clans' house rules that are used, can be geared towards making the opponent(s) gaining a upper hand or hinder your opponent(s) chances of winning the game. I play chess, one of my chess sets has a deck of cards that shows you a particular piece and how that piece can move. Basically, if you are in check and want to get out of check all it takes is ONE card to decide your fate. This method of playing chess, I almost always win the game.
