In the time of the great Avian Empire, before the fall of the Gilded Mountain, there was a fighting force called the Storm Reavers.

Led by Eric Stormwing prince of the Avians, the Storm Reavers fought against the growing darkness that resulted from the sinister god Shivazeal's scheming.

Each Storm Reaver was granted the use of an ancient weapon to aid in their mission.

Eric's sword is a holy symbol of the Stormwing dynasty.
