I have always liked Blob from the game De Blob, so I figured I'd make a Perler Bead sprite of him. Interesting how the only black beads on this entire project is on his mouth. =O

Oh definitely, I can understand why people wouldn't like them, but I love them, especially De Blob 2.

Using grey beads for the mouth area, it looks even more like a toothy-grin than before. :P
I know that it's actually the mouth though.

Yeah, just the nature of the design of the character. =P
Given my selection of blues I don't think shading his mouth with blues would have looked good here, so I opted for greys since some artwork and even in game shots of Blob his mouth area looks grey. =P

An underrated gem of a game, I got the games on Switch and love them. Wish there was more art of him, but this is pretty nice.

Yeah it's a pretty fun game. De Blob 2 did what a sequel should do, improve upon the game in almost every way~

I'm holding out hope for a third game, given THQ Nordic has the rights to the IP, I'd love to see him make a comeback. And I really like Blob's character, so goofy yet very heroic.

Yeah, I like Blob a lot. Like how at the end of the first game, people are throwing a parade, but he doesn't need all the glory, he just goes back to his tree to rest after saving the city.

Or in the second game where his friends mourn for him when they believe he died, but are overjoyed and happy when he's a-okay. It really shows how much they care about Blob, and he cares for them.

Indeed they are. I especially like Pinky from De Blob 2.

And I am aware of the DS game as I own it. It's a bit basic but still kind of fun.
