Tortoise and the Hare
Another from my Children's Book Project: the Tortoise and the Hare. I scanned through pages are pages of Tortoise and the Hare references for inspiration, and all I found were images of the tortoise and the hare racing or crossing the finish line. I didn't see one image of the rabbit actually heckling the tortoise, challenging him to a race. So, I got the idea for this image.
Done on Bristol board with ink, Prisma marker and Prisma Pencils.

Beautiful work. you have put alot of Detail in this. i have to say i believe children will really enjoy it. you will captivate then with the picture alone. but the texturing is what will catch them the most! i should know =D i'm pretty much the same way! awesome work! and you always impress my with your works. you have a Very unique style! you do expressions so well! and the lovely shading work. *wags* thank you so much! i'm sorry i don't get the time to really tell you how much i love your work! but damn it i do love your work!!
