Not everyone who makes a journey wants to encounter many different people, especially when they will take up the entire space of almost an entire valley.
Also, not everyone would like to stand in front of an obstacle that is made of a group of massive critters carrying entire cities on their back which belong to the worst guys in the country. Those ones are called The Dwellers and are a bunch of freaked out rhinos that collect garbage and steal worthy materials with which they perfectly build their well running machines and armor.
Myre has no clue why the heck she got into them and how she will get away from the walking town without a scratch.
This is quite a special scene which will be included in the comic and something that got stuck in my head for a very long time. It's more or less a concept but probably works as a full painting, too.
Kebi and I figured out what would work best to give the scene a face and to make Golgo look omnipresent just as much as his ride. Kebi also helped me a lot with my perspective issues and suggested great things about lighting and detailing. You can see one of Golgo's very first designs here:

His critter looked less dangerous yet more clumsy. Since the dwellers as well as their dragons are extremely heavy and move extremely slow, we had to provide them with everything they need, for example their own electricity system and water supply. More concepts need yet to be made and I'm sure there will be some absolutely weird and freaky constructions among them. ;]
Thanks a lot for looking!

Aber danke fürs Kompliment! :D

I freakin' always love artwork like this! Seeing such big fantasy creatures just makes me so damn happy x3 I love how much detail you've put into this, from the main character to the big monster, to the houses on their back! And don't think I haven't noticed the rhino holding the reins up there! Also, the way most everything is blurred aside from the main creatures head is really neat -it helps keep focus on what the main character is seeing. Lovely work!
