Nishi is one of the main dudes in the story that follows after Q&A Circles.
After the turning point of The Q&A, we found out Nishi's sister disappeared years ago. Eventually he met with Fuxie, who lied to him about being his sister, in the form of a fox.
Cooni found out about it and confronted her, and they decided she would tell him, but after Cooni and Fuxie faught, she disappeared, without ever telling him the truth.
Cooni and Nishi haven't seen either girl since.

I really like the way Nishi is presented here. It kind of reminds me of how, for dramatic effect, some shows take a thought-provoking, still-image and pan all about it while the narrator speaks in an honest matter regarding the subject. However, as with what I see here, the narrator would not end in such a matter. Rather, the view would likely pan to exactly the point we see here as (s)he acquires a sombering tone and says, "Cooni and Nishi haven't seen either girl since."
