"Flitchaye! Flitchaye! Aaaaaayeeeee!!"
Ok everyone, let me introduce you to my new OC, Fling the Flitchaye! What's a Flitchaye, you ask? Well, they're a savage tribe of small weasels who appear in a few of the Redwall books by the late Brian Jacques. They disguise themselves with vines, leaves and cloth or wooden masks and, apart from getting into insult competitions, their favourite thing to do is knock out unsuspecting travellers by burning sleeping herbs, rob them and take them back to their camp for a feast!
They're such a funny and intriguing bunch that I decided I had to draw one^^ Their description leaves much to the imagination, so experimenting with this was quite fun.
So, here we see Fling bursting out from the undergrowth, brandishing a torch of burning sleeping herbs in one paw and a dagger carved out of bone in the other, ready to terrorise the unfortunate souls who just happened to walk by!
