I love VHR, though I haven't played in a while. I'm a little eccentric, I breed and event mules, which in the game kinda suck. And! I make them pretty pretty artworks. I dunno if the record still holds but for a while there my blue roan mule, Bluesummers' Khan, held the record for highest earning mule in the history of the game.
Because Blue Roans are made of WIN, don'cha know.

THis one better still hold that record, i have not even seen too many horses irl that had confirmation as good as that. I used to work with them, i worked with a pony, ( unknown breed ) she was my mare mother, she adopted me @.@ ( quite literally . . . . its an odd story LOL ) I worked with that pony's daughter too ( hated that mares guts, ooh such a nasty little cuss . . . . tho they were not little they were about 14.1/2 hands ) A runt quarter horse paint, and her palamino half brother ( i didnt like him at all, he was soo mellow you couldnt do anything with him, i mean you could walk up and bat him square in the head and he wouldnt even flinch. That made him ridiculously unresponsive to any and all commands, as well as being too "relaxed" at the worst possible times x.x ) The runt quarter paint clung to me, and we worked soo well together, but i had to stop with them after a while. 8 yrs with them and i had no complaints, till we got that brother and sister, she hated what we did, and they used her all the time. i couldnt stand watching her work like that. I sorta kindly gave them an ultimatum . . . . it went overlooked and i left. But before i did that i trained a little "pint" pony filly LOL she was funny. I could pick her up and hold her in my arms, she wouldnt struggle, just sorta hung out LOL. WHen i was done with her, she would stop what ever she was doing if you made a clucking sound to call her to you ( the sound we can make by sucking air in the far corner of our mouths, basically cracking our tongues to our teeth LOL ) Her owner hated me for that, she tried to get this little turd for a couple days and could not catch her to trailer train her. ( i had already did that too LOL ) She called me and complained to me about how bad i did with her, i said id be over . . . . . When i went there, i asked what she was trying to do and she told me. I said ok, and said i already had that covered. I told them to fend off the other horses from the exit gate, and we pulled mama out of the field and held her. I walked to the gate and clucked a few times, sure enough the pint filly came arunnin. LOL Then i walked her into the trailer the same way i called her to me, i walked into the trailer, clucked a few times and she walked right in. Oh boy, were her owners cursin me that day. LMAO. That was a few yrs ago, to this day, that little pint filly still obeys the cluck without rebellion. THen there was blue moone, a down to earth and laid back quarter horse mare ( a beautiful blue roan, that changed to a spotted roan when her coat got wet ), she was calm and collected no matter what, I got to hold her newborn foal on day one after the vet had checked her out. I wanted to name her foal creame . . . because for some reason she smelled like creamed corn . . . and vet laughed and agreed with me. But i didnt get to name her . . . . x.x. I dont remember much of blue's foal, other than she bit me real hard one day and was the only horse to ever kick me. Her mom quickly corrected her that night lol. Blue was an odd one, she took a liking to me, just as my other working equines did, she just was too friendly at times . . . . To the point that it was embarassing at times . . . lol ( thats another story >.> ) She used to always eat my food partially at picnics and put the rest back . . . . tho thats sorta my fault . . . we used to share melon, and other fruits all the time, her ower thought it odd id eat off the same piece of fruit she did as long as it didnt hit the ground. Cept she loved and i mean LOVED meatball subs . . . . dont know why but she always made me feel bad till she got some of mine or all of it, tho if she took it all she would give me some back, as if to say im sorry.
Then my bosses got a few mustangs . . . real litteral mustangs. These horses were from the inmates training and release program, they had contacted us about two expectional stangs that had been worked with, they were overly friendly and had taken a real liking to humans. We get them and it was deja-vu all over again, her owners could not get near them and i could. They like my stetson too, unfortunately they would run up and pull it offa my head and bolt. It was a little wrong but very hilarious. I had many many equine friends there, some still alive, some that are now departed ( even if too soon in their lives, rip Sonny my fave little boy, son of Starlight Express :'( ) After i left that farm, i worked in arizona with a gentleman that raised clydsdales and mules. A clyde-mule is an odd critter but very very powerful, and in personal experience ridiculously loyal to their owner or caretaker. I was just that, caretaker and groomer, ooh i loved cleanin them guys up for work. I worked on the male facility, his female facility was further up north. I wanted to work under apprenticeship with him, but he loved how i cleaned them he still payed me for my time, and it was awesome pay too. I did that job for three months and i had to leave arizona for unexpected reasons ( not bad just annoying ) Unfortunately i have not gotten a job with equines again, though i would love to, i miss my mare stepmom pony. My sister runt quarter horse paint, the little pint pony, blue moone, sonny and his mom, the clydes i groomed, and the two clyde-mules i had to keep in line. Most of all i just miss my stepmom mare and sister paint aswell as blue moone the most. I would love to see them again.
Your rendition is just qorgeous, you have the colormix down precisel, and them ears . . . . my fav thing on an ungulate . . . them ears . . . LOL, your other renditions are just as beautiful, this one just hit me the most. . . . . hence my long typed and poorly grammered paragraph LMAO

Aw, good memories that VHR. Of course, I don't think I've even been to the site in three years or somesuch, heh. Don't have the time, too many real hippos to care for.
Only complaint is that the tail is kindof coming out of her croup. Other than that, though, very nice, regal pose with a good, proud bearing about her. One of these days I'll actually work with a mule ...
