I've been in a real bad art slump recently. I don't think I've actually finished a drawing since maybe December? I did some sketchy stuff, but thats about it. My husband even got me a fantastic new screen tablet for christmas and I think I've only used it a couple of times.

This morning I decided I wanted to draw something different. Something more relating to my real life. I chose my tortie cat Melanie as my subject, and she was the perfect little model. She sat still enough on her tower for me to get a good reference image and I went to town.
