The ig-kin worship unseen "gods" known as the sandswimmers. The sandswimmers are draconic sand beasts that glide through the desert as though they were swimming, hence the name. Only a few ig-kin have the ability to speak with the sandswimmers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the sandswimmers are obedient. The ig-kin that has to speak to the sandswimmer must appease it in some form or another. Unfortunately for the shamen, the most requested form of placation for the sandswimmer is a snack.
With that aside, I've done a drawing similar to this about a year ago, and I just wanted to see what progress I've made.
