[Animation] Gejhi - Jet Slash
This was an attack I originally scrapped, but decided to give it back to Gejhi. My initial idea was to make Gejhi's anti-air abilities a bit weaker or more direct with air-to-air responces or using his launch slash. Recently, I figured I'd just give it back to him to open up his kit a bit more and tailored the attack to his offesive-leaning, all-rounded nature. I changed some of the action and posing from the original concept, which was focused on using the spinning potion as an attack, but feel that a more direct slash would be more fitting for him.
This attack, similar to his Dark Slash (his projectile), gets two varients, done by inputting F, D, DF (or backwards to reverse it), + ATK1 (x) or Power ATK (b) buttons.
The lesser version of the attack done with (ATK1) does two hits, skipping the bigger hit that the greater version has at the start and doing one additional hit when in the air. This version is fast and only short-hops.
The greater version (pow-ATK) does 4 hits, two on the ground and two while in air. It will travel much higher than the lesser version. If the attack makes contact with a foe, he can act half-way into his falling portion of the attack, allowing him to more quickly persue hit foes.
The foe can usually attempt a fall recovery sometime before hitting the ground, but on counter hit, the attack will cause slightly different knock-back and cause an unrecoverable fall, allowing him a follow-up.
Both versions of the attack have no hurt-boxes on the top half of his body while he's on the ground. While rising, only his attacking arm has no hurt-box.

I only recently have been able to work on him again. December and January were pretty sluggish for me. Was pretty tired most of the time. I've been adding a couple more things to him, which has also been delaying his release. I'm gonna try to make that finally happen this month.
Said tiredness has also been why I've not posted much, but I have been working on stuff and have a ton of shit to post that I'm gonna spread out now that I've hammered out on of the biggest projects I've been working on for a while.
So yuh. Sorry I've been quiet.

I've not released any incomplete versions of Gejhi, He'll be released when I deem him a solid "1.0" to base the rest of my characters on (for mechanics and such). Future characters MAY be released in beta status after Gejhi, depending on how things go.

Well, his falling speed certainly helps him with the speedier recovery. Most of my other critters will probably have a slower fall speed. Also, holding down while falling, makes my characters accelerate faster, sorta similar to fast falling in Smash.
I wanna be sure not to make it too safe though, it being one of his stronger moves, (at least when does as Greater Jet Slash) I wanna make sure there's a balance to it. I may actually make it that when it's blocked, it alters it, making it easier to punish, but whiffs and hits will maintain more of the safety.
I'm also unsure if/how I will transfer this attack over to Jeibu, who learned some things from Gejhi. Jeibu's form, would take on a much more defensive take. Though, something fun as a huge difference is that Jeibu generally gets armor frames where Gejhi gets invincibility, so may give him a perk to his version, where, if he takes a hit on the start-up, the move acts differently as a counter, changing the attacks properties a bit.
