Comic 15 - 12/28/06
A little thingie I whipped up while penciling my '2000 Hits' pic. I figured it was time Cynthia got some face time on FA, since her "class picture" way back in my gallery here is less than flattering. So here she is, looking much better for (the end of) 2006.
Cynthia is the "youngest" member of my group of characters, although I actually created her in high school (DeWitt Clinton) around 1984-85 or thereabouts, along with Tanya and Tina. For that reason, my characters' actual ages are undefined, although there is a progression of ages from youngest to oldest. Think of Cynthia as the brat troublemaker of the group, something I'll eventually explore in the regular comic one day.
Technical: This pic marks my triumphant return to brush inking and soft-edge digital shading, in contrast to the Micron-inked cell-shaded look of "A Curiously Filthy Story". This comic didn't begin with a backdrop, but I added one at the digital stage to provide a sort-of playground location that would put the third panel in some sort of context. Pedobear himself was filched from Encyclopedia Dramatica and modified to show his disapproval of Cynthia's revelation. It's probably the most emotion he's shown in a long time :)

Thanks for the thumbs-up there...I'm always looking for methods to improve hair highlighting/shading.
Every time I think "use anime style--it's quicker", I get another thought--"No, strive for the extra detailed I-can-almost-see-individual-hairs look, you need every boost you can get"
