.. I will admit that I enjoyed the Illumination film about this here character (they make use of his inventive skills!)--can't say the same for their version of the The Lorax though
I did incorporate design elements from said film, the Jim Carrey one (though I don't like the film in itself or Carrey's performance as Grinch), and the TV short by Chuck Jones--the guy who added the green and yellow eyes "officially" as a departure from the book by Theodore Geisel / Dr. Seuss. There were other books (and a short) featuring the Grinch with a shade of green closer to dull moss and the red eyes from the book. I took liberty to add in the red to the irises, just 'cause~
As for the second image, I'd like to think he's waiting on Max for an errand. With a random nondescript watch pfft
