Josiah Ammiras Lovegrove was one of the most prolific poets of the Fallows. A shut-in by nature, Josiah had managed to conceal the fact that he happened to be a raven quite successfully for years. Most folks never questioned the introverted artist who hated guests.
But now, instead of working on his craft, Josiah found himself writing a strongly-worded letter to a journalist at the local paper who had made a few too many connections and published an article theorizing that the poet was, in reality, a bird. He would have been impressed if the contents of the article hadn’t been so insulting. “Raven and a writing desk,” really. Where was the tact?
