I haven't done any Beetlejuice and Lydia fan art in a while, then I remembered watching Guillermo Del Toro's most amazing fantasy romance film yet, The Shape of Water, and here The Ghost With the Most are in the roles of Amphibian and Man Elisa, in a reference to the poster. In his interview, Del Toro said his inspiration for the movie came from watching Creature From The Black Lagoon, only he's always wanted to see the title character get the girl, since the invading humans of course had to interfere. I can relate to that, since it's no secret about which characters I ship the most (At a legal age of course). Fun fact, Doug Jones who played Amphibian man in this movie, also played similar character, Abe Sapian, from Del Toro's version of Hellboy.
