I'm hoping to get the two issues that have sidetracked me (i.e., the sale of my former apartment, and my father's health) behind me in the coming weeks so that I can turn my attention back to more fun things, like "Be There. Eala."
But I have not forgotten about my characters, O no. I will take up chances to keep them moving. Such as a few days ago.
Many of you here know Leonardo Batic from his work for DC Comics and Scholastic. In Argentina (his native land) he does a great deal of work on fantasy literature, both writing it and illustrating it. Many years ago, he did the art for the only two stories I've ever had published (in Furrlough).
In any event, this past week, he had a logistical issue involving items here in the United States he needed to get to Argentina, and websites weren't playing nice with him. So he turned to me, and I got the issues untangled for him. So he was very cheerily agreeable to the concept of supplying art for me, in this case, a piece of digital artwork (and one that mimics water-colour work remarkably).
It looks like the Wolf Queen is coming out of the sun in the sky, and is confronting some fur; she's also wielding Sun-and-Moon, and appears to be daring the opponent to make their next move.
Leo had the advantage of lots of reference material from
tegerio to work with (you'll notice he uses the glyph on Sun-blade).
Anyway, enjoy, and I'll try to get back on track soon.

I think over the last batch of years he's been doing a bit more writing than artwork; also I think most of his stuff is for the Argentine market. He has a FB presence, though, and he talks (in Spanish) about his projects. I think back in the day he did pencils, and others did inks and colour.
Nice to see Leo has posted the piece to his offical website.
