I think the fur on the neck and tail look great, maybe a bit to angular, but it really, really works with your style. However, I'm not to much of a fan of the body fur texture...and on the legs. The chunks are too big, and it kind of looses a sense of flow with the body. The fur on the main part of the legs and the upper shoulders are usually the same length of that on the face, or sides of the face, so for them to have that severe texture looks a little off, if you know what I mean. I also think it may be just a bit too exaggerated.

That's my critique lollll. For a first try though, this is awesome. I'd suggest looking up dogs, wolves, coyotes, etc. and studying the various lengths of fur, and how it flows on their body. c: The pose itself is adorable, as usual.
