Staglore the deer wizard's rival, a newt supervillainess going by the name Eye-of-Newt. I was kind of going for an old-school, "He-Man" villain style look for her.
Besides being able to cast spells and curses with her staff, she can also transform herself into various types of dragon. (This takes a lot of magical power and is only temporary.)
I don't think newts have claws. Perhaps hers are left over from her dragon transformations?
