This pic sort of popped into my head when I was playing SW:TOR. I have several Cathar characters. I figured I would get a pic of the two main characters that I play. One is a Sith Assassin, the other is a Jedi Guardian. The two are of course Force sensitive brothers but two very different paths. They mostly avoided each other after they went their separate ways, both not wanting to really talk to one another obviously. Not enough to try and kill each other but Kahrath, the assassin, harbored a deep hatred for his brother for seemingly abandoning him. Micah'kyl (Micah for short), though he felt disappointment for his brother, didn't hate him but thought he strayed to far down the path of darkness.
*potential spoilers for SW:TOR ahead*
After the Great War had concluded and the Emperor of the Sith enacted his ritual to consume all of the life from the planet Zoist, the two brothers would meet up again after the disturbance in the Force was felt by both of them. The disturbance was so strong that it shielded both of them from each other until they locked eyes upon the other one. Kahrath growled and immediately launched to attack his brother. Micah defended himself and after several long hours of light sabers clashing and force lightning being deflected and absorbed the two looked at each other in the growing darkness lit only by the light of their weapons. Neither one of them had gained any advantage over the other and both breathed heavily on the surface of the dead world. It was there that they both realized they couldn't beat the other and were never meant to fight the other one. The Force seemed to have something else in store for them, together.
Both brothers deactivated their light sabers and stood staring at the other. The both wore pretty much the exact same armor and sported the exact same style of headfur on their heads. They viewed the similarities and the differences and after what seemed an eternity knew they had to reconcile whatever it was that separated them. Both of them talked at length about what they had done with their lives, the philosophies of both orders, how their parents were doing, and other such things. Micah broke with his teachings and poured out his emotional burden to his brother, and Kahrath let go of his hatred and instead began to harbor an extreme respect for all that Micah had gone through. They eventually would leave Zoist and travel to a planet called Odessen. A planet that was in balance with the Force. It was there that they completed the healing between them.
Both brothers now know that both the Light side and the Dark Side of the Force are necessary. One cannot exist without the other and the two have begun to learn how to utilize both but not fall too deeply to one side. Kahrath still uses his emotions but has tempered them through discipline and wisdom. Micah has learned that emotions are not to be feared but to embrace them and not be ruled by them. The two Cathars now live and fight against the Eternal Empire both at peace with one another and with the Force.
**Yeah I know its cheesy but I really liked the idea of a Sith and a Jedi joining forces and coming to terms with their differences**
