This is Pop the Otter.
This is a partial suit that I acquired at MFF 2019, through the charity auction. I did so because I wanted to give him a new home and take him out of storage.
I believe the character deserves a second chance.
This suit has a troubling history. I have looked into it, and things are not pretty, but I am willing to not delve into that any longer and look forward. I, Rick Whitechest, am in no way affiliated to the previous owner(s) of Pop the Otter, and I decide to adopt him as my own.
I will be wearing him to future conventions, and I will attempt to make it clear that the suit is under new ownership, even though I am preserving the likeness and name as it is.
I am well aware this is a risky endeavor, but I wish to bring Pop out of retirement. He deserves it.
