Hard to Care Anymore (Hanahaki challenge)
This was my submission for a challenge on the Angel Dragon Amino (I don't really like Amino but they have really great art challenges!) and I am very proud of it. Drawing Acori in a less positive/happy situation felt a little weird to me but it turned out to be very therapeutic, especially since I've been weirdly really sick lately.

In wa world where the black rain of emotions
Like anger sadness and hatred
Flowd directly into your heart
Makes you violent
Makes you unstable
Makes u feel
Like soil ,like dirt
A soules being
Where the seed of sorrow and mourn roots into the flowers of desesperation and despair
One example of this rain of decay
Our rainbow dragón lost its spark
And time and absense drived her smile into a weeping moon frown
An illness cornered in her bed
In an antempt of freedom tried to eat the flowers
Ignoring they can not be destroyed with out hurting more
"Im sick of this greedy and selfish world"
"Im tired of how the time and people pass by with out caring"
"Its hard to care even for me "
Im tired
And so a monster called stress can only be begone in the form of art
Allow me to introduce myself
I am
The one who watches
Like anger sadness and hatred
Flowd directly into your heart
Makes you violent
Makes you unstable

It's a technique that's actually not too hard, it just takes practice! You figure out what direction the hair is going and quickly brush the pencil partway across from each end, making them different lengths so that the ends are more saturated than the center. You also have to make sure to lift the pencil off the paper at each stroke so that you don't get loops, but it's very fast once you get used to it. I hope that explanation made sense!
