So here we have a Game over scene I've had in the works for a looong long time and i'm quite pleased with the result with the green highlights and everything^^
It seems like many of rebel has been caught and are awaiting a rather toxic doom unless they can get free in time^^ better pull out some quarters
I am however not sure if the Gameover letters should have another colour, I tried other colour combinations but I couldn't get any to look right. anyone got any suggestions?

The plight of these rebels is one of my favorite stories on FA, and the “Game Over” theme is a great nod to classic gaming. As much as my evil self loves it when the hero is in peril, I hope this band of brothers lives to fight another day in the revolution.
As for your question, I think the color of your text is good. I feel that a different font on a dark background might drive in the impact of the message if you feel that is the direction you are looking to go.

Stein, your rebels are always so handsome! I love the colors and expressions in this piece, great work! ^w^ I don't know if you were the first one to do the "Game Over" screen bondage/peril pictures, but you certainly are the one I think of most when that genre is mentioned.
I do hope these guys can get out of that predicament, but I am not the one to help as I am not the greatest at video games lol ^^;

Captured once again and given an over-the-top drawn-out death sentence by their fascist enemies ... for the umpteenth time. What ever happened to interrogation, or auctioning them off to the highest bidder ... or even being kept as 'pets?' Regardless, things didn't look good for our boys: Stein was the least-tied of the bunch but was too deep in thought on how to save his crew in his current state, Pablo tried to use his massive strength to break the ropes but the drugs still rendered him weak, Roberto was paralyzed by the time remaining on the clock and the bright glow of their toxic doom, the Croc (whose name eludes me) was still mulling in anger over being captured, and Vlad was trying to calculated whether or not he could readjust his position so he could use his feet to dismantle the bomb wires (yank them with his toes or sever them with his toe claws.). Suddenly hole blasts in the wall as fellow rebels Levi and Cura-Ocllo. "Don't worry guys; these new players is continuing the game!" exclaimed Cura, happy to be the heroine in the story this time. The five male damsels-in-distress cheer through their gagged maws, happy to see their rescuers; even Vlad who still remembered that 'incident' with Levi and the coffee. "Um ... where to I insert the quarter to continue?" asked Levi. The five captives, along with Cura, sunk their heads ... either at the stupidity of their hero or the realization that they are in a video game. XD
Well, at least this wasn't the first time something like this happened. I'm sure during their 'rescue' (by rescue I mean Cura disarming the bomb and untying the boys whilst Levi looks for the 'coin slot') they recalled the many times they thought their "Game was Over." There was that one time they were trapped in a dug-out with a rat named Eternal where they were being subjected to drowning, or that time two of them were being covered in concrete, or the room with the scary spiders (okay, little spiders but those blindfolds didn't really help), or the time that arms dealer Slasinth was teetering on two legs of a chair with grenades latched to him and the doorknob of his cell where a simple door-opening or a mere foot tickle would have caused him to lose his balance and BOOM, or the time Slasnith was captured alongside them in the back of that truck being transported to the getaway boat, or the time when that Croc was trapped in the barrel, or that new recruit Halmar was left with Levi, or when they were all stuck in that room with that snake that wouldn't SHUT UP, or that silver lizard trainee being lowered into a boiling cauldron, or that time Murk tied up that silver wolf and bet against Vlad in a game of Wilhelm Tell ... now they're starting to re-evaluate whether or not they are cut to be true rebels or just damsels-in-distress that need constant saving ... speaking of damsels how is it that Cura's never been captured alongside them? Was Levi making up that story about the time he and she were captured just to get people to forget about the time he drugged and tied Vlad?
The Point Is ... These Rebels Have Gone Through A Lot Of 'GAME OVER' Moments, and they aren't stopping anytime soon. :)

Sorry, I was having some creative fun ... and reflecting on all your 'game over' pics. Great Work As Always! Keep playing and 'losing' <wink> so we can see more moments like this.

hahaha oh man what a EPIC comment to get! =D
thanks! that IS indeed alot of game over scenes I've done or gotten so far and they all have been a BLAST! =D haha yea I havn't drawn or gotten Cura much tied up for obvious reasons but there are a few of them like this one: https://i.imgur.com/iIUhs5Dh.jpg but yea I really should do some featuring her as well^^
haha though I'm sure I could do some less fatal game over scenes featuring alot of kinky features like this one I commissioned some years ago =P https://imgur.com/a/lT0M3Ye but sadly I'm not good at drawing such scenes, so I usually prefer with clothing on and in peril^^
oh and the crocodile is named Brock, I just havn't gotten him drawn much or started on his refsheet just yet but he pops up ever now and again like on this calender picture I got for my birthday last year! https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachme...../10OCTOBER.png
but thanks again for an amazing comment! I really appreciate it! if you have any game over ideas, I'm ALL EARS and I would love to hear them =)

You're Welcome. I'm a believer that comments should be 'more' than just single sentences of 'good job.' After all, all that time planning and drawing the artwork deserve a little more talk. I think it's nice to be specific, offer genuine critic, or just have some story-time fun with it if the description box needs some expanding on the story ... get the artists to debate and potentially become inspired for future pics if one wishes to continue.
Thinking back on it Murk would have probably made more sense than Cura, he just slipped my mind when writing this ... just discovered Cura whilst looking up these many 'Game Over' pics you've done and thought to give her a chance to be in the spotlight. Maybe Murk was captured alongside them but taken away for interrogation ... if Murk was in Vlad's spot then most likely Vlad would have probably been left bound and gagged back at the base by Levi before Levi headed out to save the others, forgetting to untie Vlad or keep him hidden for future 'snuggle time.' XD
I'd be happy to offer some off-the-cuff ideas if you want to take them. If you want some ideas for some 'Game Over' Ideas here's a couple:
There was that idea of the captured soldiers being paraded around in a pageant-like auction so the captors can make some money off the boys instead of killing them for free that I mentioned to you a while back (or just a regular auction). As the Game Over countdown commences the captured soldier looks out a the sea of potential 'buyers' making their bids for their enslavement as the captors say "Going Once ... Going Twice ..." then you fill in the rest; 'Rescue' or 'SOLD!'
There's always that scene from Aladdin (or Cabin by the Lake) where the soldiers are bound, gagged, and have their ankles bound to heavy cement blocks, or anchors, as they're tossed into the nearby lake, or sea, and left to drown as the 'Game Over Countdown' begins and they loose oxygen ... unless they can sever the binds or an untied ally dives in to save them.
A captor with a vivid imagination decides to resurrect an old classic, the "Tied to the Train Tracks" bit. This can go two ways: there's an actual train track that the heroes are tied to as a commandeered train is threatening to run them over ... or they rig up a room to blow them up by rigging the bomb detonator to an elaborate toy train set in which the captives watch, and struggle, helplessly as they see the toy train traveling slowly, but closely, to the trigger. If they can acquire many different types of firearms in a remote jungle then I believe a toy train set wouldn't be that hard.
The captives are bound to two enemy trucks and are threatened to pull them apart (like the movie Hitcher). The countdown begins when they hear the trucks' engines start ... they're only hope is that an untied ally storms the truck and prevents it from going forward, or the engine stalls.
There's always perils on a boat. They can be hoisted above the water and used as shark bait as a tiny prick allows them to bleed a few drops over the water to encourage a shark to participate. Then there's always re-enacting the scene from 007's "For Your Eyes Only" where they are dragged behind a boat. If they wanted they can also 'play pirate' and force our heroes to 'walk the plank.'
Our captive hero/heroine is bound and gagged and their big toes are bound with string that is attached to the trigger of a shotgun/crossbow aimed right at their face. They can't twitch or wiggle their toes without setting off the trigger. Either itching powder is put on their nose, they suffer an occasional punch to the gut, spiders/ants/snakes are left to crawl over them, or they are tickle tortured on their feet as a means to get an involuntary action to force them to move their feet and activate their own doom. The 'Countdown' is their internal will power being tested as they begin to lose control of keeping their body still. It can be a fatal shot that they are rescued from, or the gun/crossbow fires a fake pop-gun scroll that says 'BANG!' or 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' or 'CONTINUE!'

Now that I think about it, this could make for a great OC villain: A rogue soldier who has engineering experience and is hired to put others in stress-inducing 'damsel' situations for intel-gathering ... or has too much free time and simply enjoys 'playing' with both rebels/soldiers and fascist/soldiers in his 'Jigsaw-Like' games. Or, perhaps it can be someone who is payed to capture and test the rebel heroes every once in a while to keep them on their toes; after all their job is to shoot guns and run/hide in the jungles ... a little unexpected side-quests to liven-up things doesn't sound so bad. XD
Another great OC villain to think about: A furson and/or scalie that are much like the villain from "The Most Dangerous Game" in which our rebel heroes are captured and forced to be hunted for an expert former special ops soldier who went rogue, amassed a tremendous fortune, and a remote jungle island in order to hunt and capture/kill skilled 'warriors.' The OC Villain can even be a secret society of hunters/huntresses that engage in this 'sport.' They acquire their future 'hunts' through auctions/infiltration-extractions/kidnapping/blackmail-ransoms that lead to easy procurement of 'prey' to hunt. Their skills can range from ensnaring and capturing techniques/hand-to-hand combat and disarming techniques/Old-Fashioned Weapons training/etc. If any captive participants are killed then they are either taxidermied/head mantled over a fire place, or if unworthy - cut into chunks and feed to more vicious 'pets.' If they are captured alive during their hunts, providing they have given the captors a challenge, then they are kept as living 'trophies' to be put on a pedestal, or kept in a dungeon, in order to prepare for future hunts ... or to 'play' with them and have some 'fun.' Our captors could share some time with special guest 'prey' and even other 'enemies' that have to work together in order to escape the villainous hunter(s) ... the enemy of my enemy is my temporary friend.

There, that should keep you busy if you don't have any ideas, or inspire you to create something new. Take'em all. Continue your 'artistic rebel experiences!' :)

XD Here's another 'Game Over' Idea: The rebel/rebels are bound and gagged in a room with explosives, or some other death trap, or lose their chance at freedom and be sold off ... but they are given a chance to save themselves. They must fly a drone through an obstacle course that will set off the 'Game Over Ending' if it touches anything but the release button at the end. The problem is because their hands are bound behind their back they have to operate the controller with other parts of their body ... tail, muzzle, feet, whatever ... maybe some side-by-side tied-by-tied tag teaming on a single controller. The countdown represents the stability of the drone's flight and a 'continue' will steady it towards the finish line.
Oh, speaking of which, here's another idea: The rebels soldiers are captured, bound, and gagged. Their captors decide to force them into a race/game. The winner gets to live and/or enjoy a restful night whilst the losers are 'played with' and/or killed. Competing bound and gagged they are forced to inch, roll, and bunny hop their way through an obstacle course of puzzles, leaps, hot coals, etc. The countdown is the captive competitors frantically bunny hopping towards the finish line. You 'continue' by either crossing the finish line ... or stalling so that your allies can swoop in and save you before the rewards of the race are handed out.
How's about this: the rebel soldiers are staked out on the ground on a sunny day. They are forced into leather clothing that has been soaking in salt water. As the sun dries the leather it shrinks, suffocating the ones wearing them. The countdown is the remaining breath they have, unless they are saved or find a way to save themselves.
Just like Randy Newman, here come's another one: You're captive rebel is subjected to the 'Foot Licking Torture.' (Like in 'Fairy Tail'). Salt Water is applied to the soles of the captive's feet and a goat (or goat furson) licks the salt solution off the soles of their feet. Whilst ticklish at first the goat's rough/coarse tongue will slowly begin to peel of the skin, exposing muscle and bone if left to continue ... blood won't stop the licks, it'll only change the flavor. The countdown is the time remaining for the soldier's feet to remain whole ... rescue or bloody lolly pop.
One more? The rebels have been captured by either a secret jungle tribe, or MIA soldiers that have turned to cannibalism. They are bound, gagged with apples and other fruits and veges, and the captors show a wide range of cooking methods: bound to a rotating spit, put in a cauldron that is being heated, covered in salt and left to dry in the heat to be made into jerky, the buried-pig luau method, marinating and basting prep, etc. There can be comical moments such as arguing over what cooking method to use, the captives trying blowing out the fire, the captors sneaking in some tasty licks during the prepping, etc. The 'countdown' is the time that the cooking finally kicks in.
... Okay, one more: You have a captured rebel that's bound and gagged, maybe blindfolded, that is being brainwashed and conditioned into a subservient soldier for the enemy cause. A collage of random tortures is pasted in the background (sleep depriving, hypnosis, waterboarding, water wheel, whipping, tickle torture, shocking, bastinado/falaka (whipping of the soles of the feet), etc.) The 'countdown' is your character's willpower to remain strong ... and either he survives/is rescued or he gives in and becomes an obedient soldier to the enemy.
The Ideas Keep Coming! It Just Won't End!!! XD
