Archie and Friends Meet The Witches
Original sketch by Schnopszilla over on DA. See the original here: http://fav.me/ddpvkhh
So, in Roald Dahl's The Witches (the book only), there's a scene where the main character is trying to find the mouse potion in the Grand High Witch's bedroom, and he runs into three frogs. It's implied that they are three kids from the hotel, but they don't say anything and the hero is forced to flee before he can even find out if they still talk. After that, they're never mentioned again.
I always wondered what their story was. Who were they? What happened to them? Well, me and Schnops have decided to answer one of those questions. It turns out, the frogs are Betty, Veronica, and Archie. They were taking a holiday to a nice, coastal hotel. What they didn't know was that their timing was just the worst. While wandering on the beach they had a run in with the Grand High Witch and . . . well, you can see where it went from there.
This was basically just an excuse to experiment more with the techniques I learned last time. I didn't shade it this time because . . . shading's time consuming, alright? Gimme a break. But I think it's turned out okay overall. And any excuse for more frog tfs is good in my book.
