A relative commissioned me a while back for a small series of portraits of their dogs.

They say don't do work for family. They'll either not want to pay or they'll expect SO much more out of you.
I was flattered and she agreed to pay what I asked... But things fell into a bit of a push-and-pull on getting the features of the dog right. It didn't look enough like him. But could they tell me what specifically to fix? No. Just fix it, whatever it is. X_x Or keep asking me to fix the same thing even if I fixed it already.

Eventually I worked more closely with a specific photo for reference and things went a lot more smoothly. I also want to thank  bhavfox and  -cedarwolf who both gave me some redlines/critique while I worked on this. It was a big learning experience! Aaahh.

I'll post the portraits within a day or two.
