Actually I've been wanting to ask, does it seem "easier" when writing left handed? From a right handed perspective, it kinda does to me.

I wouldn't say it's easier, I'd say it's just messier. If you're writing, then if you use a pencil, the graphite sometimes rubs off onto your hand and makes a huge mess. If you're drawing, then the graphite mess will always occur.
It's easier for me to use my left hand. I've grown up using my left hand, and if I were to try to use my right hand...I'd rather not go there. I've never really looked at it being "easier" using either hand, since some people are lefties, some are righties, and some are ambidextrous.

Turns out that buster is detachable and there's a hand underneath. And I think the Megaman look was on purpose, which made it all the more ripe for this joke. >:]
