Genius shoe design for digitgrade bipeds. Very nicely done! On the other side of the coin, though, would not bows cause cause muzzle and lip injuries due to the bowstring clipping their face when they lean in to aim?

I am not entirely sure if it would work, but I thought torquing the bow(commonly called khatra, though name differ by culture) at release (in this manner) might prevent the issue. Historically, the use of this kind of technique has been rather common in cultures using thumb release(this pictorial instruction, for example, from the Song Dynasty Chinese encyclopedia 事林廣記, depicts the archer shooting with torque), as it was believed it increased the speed of arrow.

However, this technique seems to be applicable only when shooting with thumb release.

After watching more clips, I changed my mind. Some sort of protective measure (such as the mask you have mentioned before) would be needed.

I had to look up that over draw tube - Tong - Ah. I'm a bit of an archer and found that device to be amazing.
